MAY 8, 2018
Assemblymember Marc Berman (Assembly District 24 – San Francisco Peninsula): CLSA PAC will host an industry event for Assemblymember Berman on May 15th. Location is yet to be determined. Marc Berman was elected to the California Assembly in November 2016 to represent the 24th District, which includes southern San Mateo County and northern Santa Clara County in the heart of Silicon Valley. A lawyer by training, Marc previously served on the Palo Alto City Council and as the Development Director at the Silicon Valley Education Foundation, a non-profit focused on STEM education and closing the achievement gap in Silicon Valley public schools.

Assemblymember Catherine Baker (Assembly District 16 – Dublin): CLSA PAC and PhRMA will host an event for Assemblymember Catherine Baker on May 14th. The location is yet to be determined. Assemblymember Catharine Baker (R—Dublin) was elected to the State Assembly in November 2014 to represent the 16th Assembly District, which includes the following communities: Alamo, Danville, Dublin, Lafayette, Livermore, Moraga, Orinda, Pleasanton, San Ramon, and Walnut Creek. Asm. Baker earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Chicago, overcoming cancer her senior year to graduate Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the UC Berkeley School of Law.
